(ATLANTA) – Today, Greater Georgia, the state's conservative voter registration and mobilization group, issued its 18-month field update - announcing over 2.2 million voter contacts since its launch in February 2021. With a statewide network of volunteers and partners, the group is dedicated to growing the conservative movement, by working both in and outside of election years, to engage newly registered voters, disenfranchised and disengaged Georgians, and diverse communities across the state. 

In addition to hosting dozens of successful registration events, canvassing days, call nights, and ad campaigns, Greater Georgia also helped drive up turnout for the May 2022 midterm primary. Georgia saw a 98% increase in conservative voter turnout and a 152% average increase in minority support for conservative candidates. 

"From the beginning, Greater Georgia has been committed to investing heavily in the growth of the conservative movement by making inroads with diverse communities and registering new voters," said Greater Georgia Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler. "Over the last 18 months, we've registered tens of thousands of voters, re-engaged thousands more, and built the coalition of voters that have already moved the needle toward greater conservative engagement. I am encouraged by the results of our efforts so far - but our work on the ground continues heading into November." 

Overall Field Metrics:

• 2.25 million voter contacts with unregistered, disengaged, and disenfranchised Georgians via text campaigns, digital ad campaigns, television ads, door-to-door canvassing, phone calls, and registration and community events
• Registered tens of thousands of new voters

2022 Highlights:

Advocacy

• Held the Atlanta Public School System accountable for a civics curriculum and voter registration drives, sponsored in part by liberal activists, that was overtly partisan 

Hispanic Engagement 

• Held over one dozen Hispanic voter registration events at supermercados and other Hispanic community venues
• Held a half dozen Hispanic roundtables with community leaders and business leaders from across metro Atlanta
• Launched the state's first statewide Spanish-language voter registration television ad 

Consumer Engagement

• Held three grocery store voter registration events to engage with consumers affected by record high grocery prices in the metro area
• Held a half dozen gas station registration events to mobilize Georgians affected by record high gas prices across Atlanta
• Organized a gun store registration event to mobilize and engage with pro-2A voters

Women's Engagement

• Partnered with fellow conservative groups to register and engage women volunteers and voters

Student Engagement

• Led college campus registration events at UGA, KSU, Georgia Gwinnett College, Reinhardt University, and more

Faith Engagement

• Hosted a pro-life call night and Pro-Life Summit to educate voters following the Supreme Court's decision on Roe vs. Wade
• Launched a faith registration series at local churches in and around Atlanta
• Held a Faith Roundtable for local faith leaders in the metro area

Senior Engagement

• Helped seniors request their absentee ballots at local nursing homes
• Hosted post-card writing parties for senior citizens

Community Engagement

• Knocked doors in Forsyth County to complete the 2021 Red Belt Blitz voter registration campaign
• Canvassed neighborhoods in Cobb County to help register voters ahead of the HD45 special election
• Partnered with local conservative groups to knock doors in other communities across the state, including Oconee County
