RUNOFF ELECTION DATES:

Election Day: December 6, 2022


Early Voting Begins: Monday, November 28, 2022*

Some counties may offer early voting prior to this date. Check on your county’s schedule by clicking HERE.


Last Day of Early Voting: Friday, December 2, 2022


Last Day to Request an Absentee Ballot: November 28, 2022



WHAT RACES ARE ON THE BALLOT?

The only race on the ballot for the December 6th runoff election is the United States Senate race between Herschel Walker and Raphael Warnock.



CAN I VOTE IN THE RUNOFF ELECTION IF I DIDN'T VOTE IN THE GENERAL ELECTION?

As long as you registered to vote on or before Nov. 7, 2022, you can vote in the runoff election even if you didn’t vote in the general election.



WHEN DOES EARLY VOTING TAKE PLACE?

Early voting will run Monday, November 28th - Friday, December 2nd. However, some counties are offering additional early voting days. Find out your county’s early voting schedule by clicking HERE.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT?

You can request an absentee ballot now through Monday, November 28th by clicking HERE



WHEN DO I HAVE TO RETURN MY ABSENTEE BALLOT?

Once you receive your absentee ballot, it must be returned by mail before Election Day or you can return it in-person to a secure absentee ballot drop box. To track your absentee ballot, click HERE.



WHY IS THIS RUNOFF PERIOD SO SHORT?

The Georgia Election Integrity Act, or SB 202, shortened runoffs from 9 weeks to 4. This is Georgia’s first runoff election under the new law. Learn more about SB 202 HERE.
